We’ll always have Paris:

Better late than never? I went to Paris hoping to get drunk and write something brilliant. It never quite worked out. I came up with this basic idea a few days in, and tried to write shortly before leaving. Turns out I hate to be watched when I write; one thing led to another, and a bit of a blow-up followed. I think the recovery reaffirmed the power of the metaphor.

Ahhh, lost New JERSEY. What’s funny about this is that it’s being painted as a huge repudiation of Obama’s policies, but in the only national race we ran, we won? There is one more Democrat in the House ready to vote for socialized medicine today than there was yesterday, and that’s hard to see as repudiation.
